Will you be the one to win an iPod??
Cadets can win an iPod Shuffle in the color of their choice, and cadets participating in the the recruiting campaign can win a trip to King's Island.
Starting 21 March and continuing until 31 May, all cadets who recruit five new members will win an iPod Shuffle. To qualify the new recruits must have completed applications, paid their application fee and be signed off by Major Hornbuckle. For each new recruit, the recruiting cadet will receive a $10 iTunes gift card.
If the squadron collectively recruits 10 new members during this time period, the participating members will go on a trip to King's Island. The top three recruiters will attend free. A discount will be given to all other cadets who participate in the trip.
During the recruiting campaign members will have several opportunities to participate in recruiting events at airshows, schools, special community events, etc. Those participating in these events will increase their chances of meeting their recruiting goals.
To assist in the recruiting, special recruiting cards, the size of business cards will be provided to members for 1 cent each. Order 50 for 50 cents, 100 for $1 etc. These cards will have contact information for the squadron and a map. This is an easy way to pass out information about the squadron.
