Most clubs have a plating on them (typically chrome) that protects the clubs in those instances. There are times, like with "raw" or "oil can" models of wedges or when the plating nicks off, that the oxidation process can affect your clubs, but that would take some time and negligence on your part. Reading your reaction, I highly doubt you'd abuse your clubs THAT much.<br><b>References : </b><br> It’s understandable. To avoid it, wipe it clean after each play.
