		<description>The 665 Sabre was rated at 20-50#, so using 30 or 40 # line would work fine.  I would stay more toward the 30# with that rod.  This rod  was one of the early attempts to blend graphite and fiberglass.  As you mentioned the Grafighter is also made this way, as is the Seeker Black Steel series.  Both Calstar and Seeker are based on the old Sabre designs, and many of the people from these two companies got their start at Sabre.

     I don&#039;t have any specific info on your 2nd rod, but the line weight can be roughly determined by multiplying the 5-10kg by 2.2.   I would guess that 10-20# would be a safe range with probably 15# being the optimum.
