Can someone help with rod blank specs? Looking for line weights?

1/ Sabre Composite Blank GF 665 Butt .75in 19.05mm Tip T8 0.12in 3.0mm Length 6′6" Honey colour tip graphite butt (believe this may be a pre calstar grafighter blank)
2/ 2 pc blank with graphite x wrap marked Mirage FT 470 5-10kg 2A 7′ long
Butt .59in 15.0mm Tip T9 0.14in 3.5mm

The 665 Sabre was rated at 20-50#, so using 30 or 40 # line would work fine. I would stay more toward the 30# with that rod. This rod was one of the early attempts to blend graphite and fiberglass. As you mentioned the Grafighter is also made this way, as is the Seeker Black Steel series. Both Calstar and Seeker are based on the old Sabre designs, and many of the people from these two companies got their start at Sabre.

I don’t have any specific info on your 2nd rod, but the line weight can be roughly determined by multiplying the 5-10kg by 2.2. I would guess that 10-20# would be a safe range with probably 15# being the optimum.

Hope this helps, email if I can help further.
