Is there any specific food or drink that one should avoid in order not to damage composite fillings?
if it is not polished well, stains can collect on it. In the long run, i will get dull & tooth & composite filling can be diffensated.

No, not really. They are designed for the long haul, baby!!
Composite is a newer material, relatively. The alternative would generally be an amalgam, a silver color. It’s fine, but the composite is stronger and looks like your natural tooth.
Avoid popcorn. The kernels can chip fillings. Be wary of tacky sweets, they can pull on them.
I see problems people have with fillings caused by food like the above, but it’s really few and far between compared to the number of fillings walking around out there!!
