What type of bat is better to use in high school, composite or aluminum?
February 13th, 2010 | by admin |I’m a high school junior now, just turned 16 and and playing varsity. For Christmas i got an Easton Synergy IMX composite bat. I was wondering since I’ve always used aluminum bats are composite bats better than aluminum?
YES, composite bats are 100% better than aluminum. They have more pop, they don’t sting your hands, and they’re have a MUCH larger sweet spot.
Definitely use your composite! (Except when you go to the cages, use the aluminum, because the cage balls can hurt the composite bat)

Composite bats are great bats, but so are aluminum. Some people prefer composite because of the no sting and the light feel. Composites also tend to have larger sweet spots. Aluminum bats can have just as much pop, with a slightly smaller sweet spot. Personally I prefer aluminum because i like the feel and the way they hit. Its based all on preference, BUT if you like the bat you have thats all that matters.
