What type of bat is better to use in high school, composite or aluminum?

I’m a high school junior now, just turned 16 and and playing varsity. For Christmas i got an Easton Synergy IMX composite bat. I was wondering since I’ve always used aluminum bats are composite bats better than aluminum?

theyre both good in their own ways because its better to use wood if you want to go to college and play or play baseball for a living then use composite to get used to it so you dont have to switch later on but if youre just gonna play this for high school and for fun thenuse aluminum because the balls comes off the bat much faster
