is it possible to connect an xbox to both a composite and component connection?
November 7th, 2009 | by admin |my computer uses composite connections, my tv uses component. is it possible to connect both at once? what would i need? i’d like to be able to play and record myself play at the same time.
i know the tv will take the composite and disable the component from the xbox connections. but maybe you can split the component and then combine one of the splits together to make a composite? is that possible? maybe i can use a system selector?
composite – red and white or black is stereo (left/right), and yellow is video only
component – all three color is use only for displaying video, each plug represents a different component of the video. when all three is combined it produce the correct image. when not combine, only 1 of the three component is displayed, usually looks messy.
tv will use component video, and overides composite video even if both is connected.
