what time does the stock markets in europe, asia open and close EST?
November 5th, 2009 | by admin |I know what time the NYSE opens and closes but I can never seem to find the exact times for the stock markets in Europe and asia opens and closes. I mean like Nikkei 225,ftse,hang seng, french cac 40 index and lastly the shanghai index composite? Thanks a bunch. I like to keep up with global markets even when the NYSE closes
Of course, there are so many stock markets in the world. What I tell you is not everything. But only main markets.
Nikkei 225 (Tokyo): 20:00 – 2:00 (22:00-23:30 recess)
Shanghai : 21:30- 3:00 (23:30- 1:00 recess)
Hang Seng (Hong Kong): 22:00 – 4:00 (0:30 – 2:30 recess)
FTSE (London): 3:00 -11:30
CAC 40 (Paris): 3:00 -11:30
DAX (Frankfurt): 3:00 -11:30
These are in summer time (now) of EST. Asian nations do not have summer time. So you have to make them 1 hour earlier in winter (Like 19:00 – 1:00 for Tokyo).
