try multiple passes on the cut using a perforated pass. that gives the cut kind of a . . . . . . . . . . effect then re pass over the blank spots and repass over the first pass and one spot never gets really hot like dragging through in one pass. the beam is too hot or the composite has no heat dispursion. tried cold stock or cooling the piece while being cut? similar to when you get laser surgery, a liquid gas is shot at the skin so it doesnt get a temperature burn, just uv exposure. try co2 cleaner for keyboards if you can find any.(kids get high on that stuff) and tip the can upside down. chemical freezer in a can. you can cryogenically freeze your skin and it willl die and fall off, so be careful!
References :
Try using an adhesive, thick tape on the line cut, and cut through your project piece and the tape. Hope that helps!!
