We are now in a recession. When that happens... 1- Gold goes up due to inflation. It was down, but still is high at $900+ an ounce. 2- Stocks go down, because our jobs /economy is down, so companies can't earn the big bucks because people don't have jobs or money to spend. 3- Dollar is declining because it's not worth anything because we keep lowering interest rates during inflation. 4- Our GDP is down...which means our economy is not growing.
