Trex is very good. The mold can be a problem if it is in a very shady area. Also here in snow country salt will stain it.
References :
When I lived in discovery bay alot of people were using Brock decking. It seemed to be lighter weight and worked well with the sun. I am also familiar with Trex, it seems to be a higher quality decking. (heavy duty) They both seem to do very well in the intense heat and sun of the Delta. As far as price I don't know how they compare but it would be worth looking into...
References :
Trex is good. Only issue with it is algae/mold. You'll want to use a product like Spray and Forget (Costco) on it yearly to keep it from getting dangerously slippery...not to mention ugly.
References :
yes.. love it good choice.

I have it and it looks great maintenance low. Works great for a lazy person like me. All work up front, just check every so often later.

Edit:
Mold in the shadow ares is an issue... but really. A light solution of bleach, water and detergents will clean it fine. Let it sit about 15 minutes, then hose it off. no problem.
