Composite decking that doesn’t stain??
February 11th, 2010 | by admin |I’m disappointed with most of the composite samples I’ve seen–Trex, etc.–because they stain terribly when you drop something greasy on them. I’ve found one brand that is all plastic and doesn’t stain, but I don’t like the colors (Procell). Does anyone have a composite deck that can stand up to having a grill and an eating area with two preschoolers on it??
After much research and debate on all of the issues you mentioned, we decided to go with Fiberon Tropics.

The composites are all what there made out to be, wait to see how they warp!!! Went to the Kemah boardwalk in Nassa Tx a month ago and how much the stuff warped and buckeled in 3 years time, look bad, do yourself a favor and save some money, stick with the pressure treated lumber, with a good stain on it like a Sikens product you won’t go wrong Good luck Les the painter

That’s the entire purpose of prestained decking, non-maintenance. This is what your paying for.
