What’s the percentage of composites in the 787′ fuselage and wings?

And what are these composites mostly made of in addition to carbon fiber?

The Boeing web site is saying 60 % for the total aircraft . I’m not sure what the breakdown is for the wing. Visit Boeing’s 787 web presentation for more information and some good videos about the Dreamliner features.

Also wikipedia has a pretty good page about the Dreamliner

The airplane operating empty weight including systems and structure is about 50% carbon fiber composites. There are also fiberglass parts in the leading and trailing edges.

Besides the fibers, there is resin- primarily epoxy with additives to make it more impact resistant.
