What aspect of metal bats is being banned in the future and what year is it exactly?

Yesterday I was at the CWS at a demarini tent and the guy said it had something to do with the BESR certification system. Is it composite bats being banned? Is it something with carbon nanotubes? I’ve heard both and when does it take effect?

idk the date when but they r banning them because with technology now-a-days the balls bounce off the bat so hard that people may not be able to react fast enough and get smashed with the ball
