I am thinking of getting a crown made of an indirect composite and the ad states it is 300% more radiopaque than many others. Does that mean it is more radioactive? I believe it has barium in it. Is that radioactive?
Radiopaque is a combination of "radio" and "opaque". It means ...

Why do aircraft makers deviate from the good old aircraft aluminium and wooden fabric materials. If the wheel isn't broken why fix it ?
The objective is to make the aircraft lighter without sacrificing any necessary structural strength. A lighter aircraft can carry more payload with less fuel.

I live in the pinelands in New jersey, lots of trees
You don't say where you live. Here in Texas, composite decking will sag in the multiple 100-degree-plus days we have in summer.

that can not be written as the sum of two odd composite numbers (with proof), or prove that there are infinitely many such even integers with this property.
Hint: There is a largest and it's not too large.
Consider:

The B787 is made from composite materials. Just like in metals, fatigue cracks are expected to occurr and must be repaired.
Am no expert in composite structures, but do know that carbon fiber components are nearly fatigue proof, and do not experience fatigue damage as do metal structures. The composites ...

According to my invoice it seems that I received following two treatments for the same tooth on the same day. Does it make sense or they double recorded a single operation ?
"Composite 4 surface Anterior MFLI"
and
"Composite 3 surface Anterior DFL"
Thank you.
Thanks for the message. I'm sure ...

Aside from a reliable wood stick like the Sherwood 7000, none really.
Composite sticks in that price range are primarily fibreglass making them blade-heavy. I suggest looking at online stores like Hockey Monkey (like car dealerships, when the
new models come in, the previous year's are sold at a fraction of previous ...

Casting of molten metal is important in many industrial processes. Centrifugal casting is used for manufacturing pipes, bearings, and many other structures. A variety of sophisticated techniques have been invented, but the basic idea is as illustrated in Figure P6.12. A cylindrical enclosure is rotated rapidly and steadily about a ...
